I’ve knocked hogs off their feet with a .30-30, so .338 Win Mag is plenty!
I’ve also seen a hog shrug off a mag dump of .45ACP. Pistols are pistols and rifles are rifles.
Unless its a Thompson Contender as I have seen one clown fire a 416 Rigby with a TC. By the by, I call him a clown by the way as he was a Surgeon & I just wonder what this did to his hands at the time.
