I was born and raised in Port Clinton Ohio. My Dad’s best friend, Col. Fred Conard was in charge of Camp Perry. Col. Fred treated me like a son and I was able to roam the camp like it was my backyard. Ultimately, I was old enough to compete in juniors small bore. I had a childhood unlike most!! We’re talking late 1960’s to early 1970’s. Amazing place indeed!
As I most heartily agree, for anyone who likes to shootit is a wonderful place.
