This was the US Army’s first issue Bolt Action Rifle. Sadly for this great rifle it quickly fell behind in the early 20th century Small Arms race. Plus it was under gunned doing against the Rebellious Moros.Image result for us troops in spanish american war
Nevertheless it is a great shooting & accurate gun!
