AW – Assault Weapon
AWB – Assault Weapon Ban
Ball – ball ammo – see FMJ
BATFE – Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives

OLR – off list rifle
OLU – off list upper (like on a FAL)
OP – original poster, the person who started the thread
